Its hot!

It's oh so hot out here! and we have PT at 1500ish..so imagine sweating, but you haven't even moved yet, and then trying to run, but the air is so thick from the humidity. Oh yeah, been here 13 days now..had two PT sessions, and now we have a PT test on monday. Can we all say remedial pt???!!!

Deployment

Leon got called up for deployment. Last minute, no warning, they told him to show up for a briefing, a few hours later he was on a bus to Camp Roberts. He is in-processing now, gets 2 days to go back home and pack, then he is off to Fort Dix for 60 days,before he heads out to Baghdad.
Not a lot more information than that, just a lot of speculation right now. He is attached to an infantry unit, but he got an informal brief that he may go out with a special forces team.
