Been quite a while. So much has happened since July, but I really just don't want to talk about most of it.
Any who, had a little gathering last weekend. It was nice. I haven't had people over to my apartment before because it is rather small, but everything worked out rather well. There was some drama to be had, but that's why she wasn't invited in the first place. I am happy for those who did take the time to hang out, it was a good opportunity to talk more with people I'd like to know better. Poor Josh got called into work and basically missed everything. It's ok Josh, Ill have another one just for you ;) LOL.
The next day was Ann's birthday BBQ. Since I had gone to bed late the night before and gotten up after only 4 hours of sleep, I was going to skip it, but then I made myself get out of bed and get over there. I'm glad I did. Ann is a sweet lady.
Quite the weekend indeed.
Work followed, and proved to be the craziest week ever. Alisa is on vacation so I covered Women's all week. Poor Tanti had an incident on Thursday and ended up in the ER. She is now on leave until she gets her doctor's permission to return to work. She needs to take it slow, but she is very stubborn. Any ways, we were down a lot of nurses yesterday and today, I am so very glad the work week is over.
Last minute got a text from Alan for dinner and a movie. Met up at Yiassoo, so delicious. Then headed over to the Pruneyard to see District 9. Very interesting movie. I thought the ending was going to disappoint, but I'm glad it turned around. Very good movie.
Well that's the current non-significant life. Tomorrow going to do a little bit of shopping with Mom and then going to go to the Giants game with Alan, Armen and Sarah :)
