A lot has been going on lately, just haven't had time to write about it!


uh working...good good. My brother some how managed to graduate highschool...I think sociologists call it social promotion (cause we know he didn'tearn it!!!!!)

Barf Bash was the best...oh and can't be forgetting the pre-party festivities.

My bike fell on me. What is it about SV's??? Total narcoleptics that bunch! So I sacrificed my leg for the cause. It swelled up pretty good and still hurts today. I couldn't walk for a short bit. I still get some swelling after being at work all day, the colors are the best.

So much going on now its just a big ol jumble in my head. Been spending most of my time at the apartment getting things ready. Moved the kitchen cabinet, looks awesome. Still have a lot to do.....need more money first.

Started work this week....finally! WOO HOO! Yes! A paycheck is finally in my future!
So monday I reported to HR and had to sit in boring in processing.....then I left for 2 hours cause they are so retarded. Came back, got issued my badge, and then reported to my area for a tour and to meet the peeps.
Tuesday, I came to work...but really didn't do a damn thing all day but sit in a chair. I didn't have access codes for the computer system, so although they could show me what they were doing, it's just not the same. Oh, btw, I am working in the general medicine clinic, so this is as easy as nursing can get. Room patients, take vitals, health surveys, the occassional injection, and thats it!
Today I got to participate a little bit more and not feel like a total waste of space. I got my access codes by 10am....in the afternoon I roomed a few patients, recorded their vitals, did some orthostatics, and was even given a pager! Big time now baby! LOL
Hopefully tomorrow it will be even more involved. Unfortunately I might lose all my newly acquired knowledge because after this week I will be in orientation classes thru the 25th.

Also today Jordan's grandma Judy drove up for his graduation tomorrow and took us all out to dinner. We went to the Sonoma Chicken Coop in Campbell, very delicious. We had a nice dinner, then mom and I had to rush to the library so she could print her homework that is due tomorrow. While we were there I picked up a Williams of Sonoma dessert cookbook! I predict fattening times in the near future!!!

Sunday! Sunday! Sunday!

Went to a matinee of the new Sex and the City movie..pretty good, but long. No other real plans for the day...I am lacking the motivation.

Yesterday got back from spending a few days down at Fort Hunter Liggett. Headed down on thursday afternoon with Spc. Winch...quiet guy. Any ways, we were the medics for the 75th LSO. Friday we spent the day at the range. First they zeroed their M16's and got familiar with the 9mm's. Then we moved over to the pop-up range for qualification on the M16's. At the end of the day we had a lot of extra ammo so took out 9 mags and had some fun!
On Saturday they just had a tactical movement class....low crawl, high crawl, 3-5 second rushes, etc. Made it through with no real injuries. We had one brass burn, a splinter, a scrape, some aches and pains but no real patients....therefore a good weekend!
